The Yankee’s Alex Rodriguez and the rest of the team is off and they are tearing up the AL East. All the pre-season chatter was about the moves of the Boston Red Sox, but now that the season is here the Yankees are doing what they do best. Watch them take on the competition with your own set of Yankees baseball tickets and get a glimpse of how the team is going to end up. Lots of sports fans in the New York are are looking all over for New York Yankees tickets because they want to get out to the Stadium to see the action. CC Sabathia is throwing heat and has been a beast so far, so expect plenty of strikeouts too this year. And if the Yankees can trade for an elite pitcher well then all bets are off. Manager Joe Girardi has some very talented players to plug into the lineup, so look for the Yankees to score plenty of runs this year. Watch the Yanks play their own brand of baseball at Yankee Stadium this summer because its going to be another good year of baseball. Yanks GM Brian Cashman and the Steinbrenner brothers brought in red-hot reliever Rafael Soriano as a bridge to closer Mariano Rivera, so the opposition will have to get to the Yankees pitching early if they want to win.

No shortage of good times at Yankee Stadium this season so do your best to get out there. Everyone is expecting big things from slugger Alex Rodriguez as the Yanks take on the rest of the American League, especially the Eastern division. There are some talented teams in the American League, and they will not be giving the Yankees any breaks. Be there to cheer on the team with some great tickets. If you want front-row or legends seats at Yankee Stadium, or if you want NY Yankees Bleacher seats, there are great places to buy tickets online. I usually start at Ticket Master, Ticket Liquidator or Stub Hub when looking at the best prices for tickets. Either way do your homework because you can see some really good games if you look hard.

Yankees take on Red Sox this weekend!

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

With the MLB Season well underway, sports fans in New York are looking forward to the truly big event of the 2009 baseball season, Yanks Sox! The Red Sox vs Yankees series starts this weekend, and fans have been waiting for this all year. Fans have had their Yankees Red Sox tickets waiting for months and now the time is finally here. The Yankees head into Fenway Park and will meet a Red Sox team that haws a seven-game wining streak that saw them sweep a double header against the Minnesota Twins by astounding scores of 10-1 and 7-3. During their seven-game win streak the Red Sox have scored no less than 55 runs, just under eight runs a game! Yankees vs Red Sox stars with the Yanks having their own win streak of three after they beat Cleveland 7-3 and took two from Oakland in New York.

Joba Chamberlain is set to start the first game of the Red Sox Yankees against lefty Jon Lester. Both are seen as potential aces for the teams down the line, so you know Red Sox Yankees ticket holders will be keeping an extra eye on their performances. Chamberlain enters the series still without his first win of the season and a 5.06 ERA. Lester is 1-2 with a 5.50 ERA and is coming of a great game against Baltimore when he went seven innings without an earned run.

Even with Arod out, Red Sox Yankees ticket holders are going to see a great game of baseball

Even with A-Rod out, Red Sox Yankees ticket holders are going to see a great game of baseball

AJ Burnett is set to start Saturdays Red Sox Yankee game against Red Sox ace Josh Beckett. Burnett has not lost and will enter Fenway Park with a 3.20 ERA and a 2-0 record, while Beckett has a 3.79 ERA and a 2-1 record. It will be Burnetts first start at Fenway Park so expect Red Sox ticket holders to give him a hearty welcome to the rivalry.

The third Yankees Red Sox matchup will see the Yankees veteran pitcher up against one of the Red Sox up and coming stars.Any Pettitte, 2.53 ERA and a 2-0 record goes up against Justin Masterson, who is 1-0 in one start for injured Daisuke Matsuzaka with a 3.18 ERA. The 36 Yankee has a lifetime 429 games started, with a 217 – 127 record, while Masterson, 24, has started just 10 games and has a 7-5 record (both record include relief appearances). Its going to be a great match-up of old vs young, so make sure you don’t pass up a chance at Red Sox Yankees tickets to see the games live from Fenway Park.

This Yankees Red Sox weekend is certainly going to be a wild one in Boston, so make sure you have your Red Sox Yankees tickets ready to roll. You never know what is going to happen when these teams meet, but you know that anything can and will happen.

New York Yankees tickets on sale this weekend!

Friday, March 13th, 2009

Attention all you Yankees fans out there, this weekend is when the NY Yankees tickets go on sale for the Bronx Bombers first season in the New Yankee Stadium. There has been a lot of attention on this team and they are expecting big things out of these guys. If you are looking to get yourself some NY Yankees tickets let me assure you that you are not alone. You will definitely have a long wait ahead of you, and will need some luck to get your hands on them. There are so many Yankee fans out there and they will all be trying to get their hands on Yankees tickets this weekend. It is really a crazy time of the year for baseball fans, and it all comes down to this weekend if you want to get primary tickets.

But if you can’t buy the tickets directly from the Yankees, and I am expecting that will be the case for quite a few of you out there, you can still get awesome Yankee tickets even after they are “sold out.” Real Yankees fans know that there is no such thing as sold out. That term just means that the Yankees aren’t releasing any more tickets to the general public. But once that happens there is still plenty of opportunity to get your Yankees tickets on the secondary ticket market. This is made up by Yankees season ticket holders that have to defray some of the exorbitant cost associated with buying Yankees tickets. The biggest and most expensive baseball stadium in history, the New Yankees Stadium, wasn’t cheap, even though a ton of the money needed to build it came from taxpayers. And while season ticket holder would love to go to every game the truth is that many just cannot afford this. To make up the difference they post their ticket on the secondary ticket market. In fact if you have some Yankees tickets for the season, you might want to think about selling Yankees tickets on the secondary market. It is a good way to make up some of the cost the teams charge for entrance to New Yankee Stadium.

So where do you get Yankees tickets through a ticket broker? Well the answer to that is simple. There are a ton of sites that sell tickets, but some are better than others. We always recommend using Ticket Liquidator to get your Yankees tickets. They have the most brokers in their system so that means more selection. And more tickets brokers competing for customers means lower prices too, because the old rules of supply and demand come into effect. Yes, in many cases you will have to pay more than face value, but in some cases you may end up paying less. It is up to the broker to decide what price they want to sell their Yankees tickets at, so you can get some big deals. Because they spend so much on advertising, plus their partnerships with MLB, ESPN and pretty much any other sports related business, stub hub gets a lot of notoriety among ticket buyers, But that extra advertising causes them to have to charge more for their tickets. Compare their selection to what Ticket Liquidator has and you will see that TL just about always has better tickets at lower prices.

its going to be a great baseball season, and it looks like the Yankees have a good shot at making it to the playoffs once again. don’t wait to get your NY Yankees tickets because they are looking sharp. Can Joe Girardi get this team to win, you’ll have to get to some games to find out.
